I hope that's not related to the annoying freezes the community's been complaining about since that release...

This thread just reminded me of t - http://stevelosh.com/projects/t/ - which turned out to be rather powerful (if needed) with bash in vi mode.
The simplicity is astounding, although now I'm curious to look at the code...
Would one also need a non-US registrar to go with that .eu domain?
Right now i'm using Dreamhost, but what would you recommend for a completely non-US solution with decent quality?
Ooh, dunno why I thought that wasn't supported in IPython too before, but it is. Lovely.
Please, don't delete this post. In my opinion it's a much better alternative to all the tired, cookie-cutter posts on suicide prevention. I think it will do more good than bad if those in need can read it.
I'll edit this in the evening to continue with a short recount of my own similar experience.
Can you share some pointers?
E.g. a page giving an overview of BSD, GPLv2, GPLv3, LGPL, the Creative Commons bunch (no idea if they are usable for source code). Basically I'm wondering if there's a "Intro to licensing your crap on github" post somewhere on the net...
Seeing this link on HN reminded me to give Spotify a try. Going to their website reminded me that they don't provide a non-Facebook option. That's a shame.
Thanks for the pointer - I've been looking for something similar (DSP being to general).
While this course describes the mathematical background of music signal processing, does anyone know of a practical extension to it - i.e. resources that demonstrate the basics like FFT, parametric EQs and so on in such a way that one can write a time-efficient implementation of them?
