On a tangent, how is midjourney so much better than dalle2 and many times better than stable diffusion?

Whisper also manages to add punctuations, line breaks and can attribute the speech to a particular speaker. The YouTube version is all lower case and has no punctuation. That “simple” change would make things so much better in YouTube CC.
The former situation is better for everyone involved.
More like the control group for ending ending an aerosol geoengineering experiment.
In my experience, Black and Latino people are very warm and welcoming on an individual level. It’s the about 5-10% of individuals in the community that wreak havoc, and the communities already know exactly who those people are.
Because freedom is moderation. A place without moderation turns into a spam, gore, cp, racist, sexist shithole where no discourse happens. You may be nostalgic for usenets groups but that was a different time when a very small slice of society used those.
As a dev, high performance is velocity, number of bugs and cordial behavior. Additional parameters need to be considered for more senior roles like ownership, cross org influence, mentorship etc. It’s not rocket science.
There no reason incoming and outgoing air have to have the same pathways. Fans that suck out inside air will not bring in outside air. This is pretty basic stuff. Your inlets can have absolutely no filters on them and the fans sucking out the air will maintain a pressure differential that makes sure the inlets will mostly only let air in.
BIPOC absolutely includes Asian- both east and south Asian. I’ve never seen it used otherwise.
I use a notepad to take notes. It offers degrees of freedom that nothing else can compare to including an iPad with a stylus. A text editor is extremely limiting.
Nonsense. The torturer (can’t remember the name) is paradoxically extremely likable. Atleast I was rooting for him. To be honest, I liked pretty much every character in that book.
I don’t want to live in densely populated places cooped up in apartments.
Why don’t we have missiles that can fire in any direction around the fighter? Would that make dogfights where you have to line up behind the enemy to get a good shot obsolete?
It could be procedurally generated the first time someone stumbles across it and then gets added to the corpus of the world that everyone shares.
Easy to say when it doesn’t effect you. Lots of things would be good for the world that would foist suffering on a small group of people but that’s not how we try to do things.
Wow 7 Indians.
Particle board may be dimensionally stable but is terrible in every other way- weak, poor water resistance and not durable. Sealing a hardwood with lacquer/sealer pretty much eliminates warping and cupping.
It’s methamphetamine induced.
There isn’t any time for this in a 500 person public university classroom.
The kids are definitely going to have a lack of critical thinking skills. But the cat is out of the bag. If I think back to my days in university, I would have definitely used chatGPT, especially when deadlines were a few hours away. It takes an inordinate amount of self discipline to not use a tool when it’s right there and the alternative is failing the class. You’re never going to be able to use the honor system effectively here. It’s going to devolve into students submitting chatGPT essays and professors using chatGPT to grade them.
From there the only logical step is to have AI be a generally accepted tool in everyone’s life like we have smartphones now. The extremely long term view on this is the lack of need for education at all as soon as we get the future AGI version of chatGPT directly plugged into our brains.
Advertisers trying to reach the most number of people don’t want to associate with toxic discourse that disparages a lot of the populace. It’s about as free market as it gets.
Even if you don’t buy any other discourse the market has spoken. They have never been as unprofitable as they are now.
This would completely kill fluid discourse. People would not want to post anything controversial since it could be tied back to them. That being said I’m illogically for it.
Pretty much everything at work.
There’s going to be plenty of “art from an artist” that going to be AI art. If that gets caught enough we’re either going to have to put blinders on or find a foolproof verification third party.
I don’t. That’s a perfectly reasonable perspective.
No, people without self control have to try to feel good about themselves and this is usually the route.
Have you made this comment before? Strong sense of deja vu with this one.
This tired comment again. I use chatGPT atleast 10 times a day. It’s made my job atleast 3x more efficient.
Still, you’re implying the use of a deadly weapon on someone else’s property. That’s going to get you in trouble.
