Is it feasible for all the ISPs to be taken to court? I feel like they want to head towards mass censorship.

also, is the computer in that picture running Linux? It looks like a GNOME panel on the bottom of the screen.

exactly. However, I was thinking more that has the credit crisis affected enough individuals for it to affect this system as well. Meaning, do less people use this now than before? It also makes me wonder, do some people trust this system more than the well established one that most people use?

IE 6 Update 17 years ago

I could imagine a lot of people thinking their computers are hacked when IE suddenly changes because of a required update that looked like a usual activeX install.

I'm living in Korea right now, and you need activeX for any kind of school, internet banking, or government website. This would make a lot of them not understand what happened to their computer (not that they are particularly aware to begin with.)

On linux, you also have the trouble of many different distributions and a very small user base. The time it would take to develop it wouldn't be worth the small user base it would attract. Any Linux malware would be targeting a tiny fraction of a fraction of a market.

This is one of the things that I never really understood about Skype either. I have never been using Skype and think, "I should check eBay right now!"

It is funny that they are both independently profitable. No synergy at all.

It does look like a good idea. I myself am a bit confused by the "1"s next to the link. Looking through the site I did find a few dead links, and there wasn't a whole lot of content. However, I still think it has a lot of potential.

I think it's especially useful for some of our unemployed twitter friends who don't have the attention span for a traditional job search.
