Basically the difference is that Type I your body is no longer able to produce insulin. Type II means that your body is not using the insulin it produces properly, and eventually your body will not be able to produce enough insulin to keep your blood sugar at reasonable levels.
There is absolutely no coming back from Type I diabetes at the moment. But Type II should be reversible for anyone with both Type I & II.

Maybe auto-updating apps? It could be that the compilation is resource-intensive enough that it would slow down whatever user is currently doing when an app is updated in the background.
Reading the thread from the startt, it seems that Baidu is used for pushing content to MyXperia.
MyXperia is their service similar to let you can remotely track or lock your device. My guess is they are using Baidu's push service to send the commands to device.
So I'd say this is a poor choice of service provider from Sony - especially for non-Chinese versions - but _probably_ harmless.
I wouldn't be surprised if he hadn't even noticed the hamburger button. On a widescreen monitor the button is way too far from actual content. It really needs to be closer to the content of the page.
