Ask HN: Laws that should exist but don't 16 years ago
One could argue that the phrase "this conversation may be recorded for quality assurance purposes" is both a warning (WE may record the conversation) and granting permission (YOU may record the conversation).
Whenever I hear that phrase, I always think "Thank you, don't mind if I do!" :)
