Wow got banned for saying a 200% tax on gasoline is another example of a government looking to tax the population into poverty and dependence.
The entire web is 1984 now. Crazy couple years

IMF is the closest thing we have to a global entity responsible for managing currency supply and distribution.
Bitcoin undermines their existence.
This is 100% a supply shock. I have colleagues in the import business and containers are impossible to get and when they do you’re looking at 2x pre covid prices.
No way of proving mRNA vaccines are safe long term
You have no way of proving mRNA is safe long term. People need to stop with that blanket statement.
“ But this was only possible due to the history of Harvard within the advent of the internet and the fact that they had such an excess of addresses that Zuck could bind to a public IP address.”
This sounds interesting. Can you ELI5?
Covid gave governments in free markets the ability to control capitalism.
The outcome is a less efficient supply chain.
Very simple.
I bet the same people who agreed on Virginia’s “Keep parents out of school” movement
How do most people continue to believe they have any form of privacy
Jack has a vested interest in hyperinflation through Square and his investment in Bitcoin
Could this also be a result of forced vaccinations on healthcare workers (who were on the front lines for us early in the pandemic) who then move to states without mandates.
Then why is Southwest the only airline in the news? Wouldn’t weather impact all airlines equally
This was my favorite:
“If we wanted to ignore research, why would we create an industry-leading research program to understand these important issues in the first place”
Looks like “YouTube will remove all content against vaccines” quickly got replaced with this on the front page
I hate politicizing this to my side vs their side
The fact is that the efficiency of the vaccine is being understood as we go. We started with the initial dose and are now considering second and third boosters because the efficiency diminished faster than expected
That’s beside the point of the WaPo article. YouTube is making the decision to remove any content that goes against vaccines, based in truth or not.
To the moon!
Is almost as if we need a group of elected officials to create laws for this new digital world so that for profit, multi national, corporations do not and should not have to take matters into their own hands
For me, it works (on myself and for kids) with using different ways to praise, for example- “you’re so smart” vs “you really thought of creative solutions to that problem”
Another simple set of rules for talking to children is keeping fixed vs growth mindset approaches in mind
Edit: this was a positive intentioned comment. Not sure why the downvotes
As a Persian Jew I agree 100%. It’s really only both govts that hate each other.
Amongst both peoples, it’s all love.
I wonder if the scientist was voluntarily working on Iran’s nuclear program or if he had no other choice.
It was said he liked to read poems and enjoy everyday life pleasures, maybe this was an escape he didn’t mind.
Either way this will not stop either country’s ambitions.
I just booked a car in the US this week. Same prices and availability as before covid
Just rented a car and it was as cheap and easy as it was pre covid.
Use costcotravel.com
Almost everything you consume uses oil.
The car you lease every 3 years, your new iPhone every 2 years, new clothes every season, etc.
Will corporations make products that last 20+ years or is planned obsolescence the only way to ensure YoY revenue growth

There’s a zero percent chance this can be validated but a 100% chance it will be used to increase government control.
What’s being done to address the 100 corporations that cause 70% of the world’s emissions?

What do we do about this new dynamic of social corporatism? Do we not follow laws anymore and allow corporations to dictate social justice?
(Nothing to do about this specific law but corporations are increasingly taking issues, which should be left to the public voters, in their own hands… do we get to vote for CEOs?)
Is this really end to end encryption?
Cafeterias and gyms within the office save employees time which then goes to working. Big win for the corporations.
Going to college offsite, off hours doesn’t immediately benefit the corporation. The investment only benefits the company if the employee “moves up the ranks”.
My understanding from the article is that the benefit is for front line employees. My guess is most do not care for college and would rather take in even 50% of the college tuition
Why not pay the employees more and allow them to decide if college or something else is a priority for them?
