Well then I think GP is actually agreeing with you but you are correcting their definition of economic sense. Which is great, but not sure why you had to snark them with the “meanwhile, economists think humans are rational” joke

I’m gonna drop my $.02 in here because I am SEVERELY lactose intolerant and would like to discuss with someone else who is lactose intolerant. (This comment is unrelated to the video)

I usually use 2-4 lactaid capsules when eating dairy and sometimes 8 when it’s some super cheesy pizza or something. I live in the United States. I visited Italy last year, and I ate a lot of ice cream, cheesy pastas, and pizzas without any problems. Same with my father and uncle who are lactose intolerant. Do you know if there’s anything different about Italian dairy vs American dairy? I recognize my experience is super anecdotal, but it’s quite funny as my uncle, my father, and I got cocky about our ability to eat US dairy after coming home from Italy and immediately regretted it! So yeah, we’re definitely lactose intolerant

Here’s also this silly link I just got off of google: https://www.wantedinrome.com/news/living-with-lactose-intole...

Crap. I actually missed 1-2 years of paying the $800 franchise tax because like a lot of other people on this thread, it’s just used for hobbies, makes no money, and lies fallow 99% of the time. I’ve never gotten a fine in the mail for this though. Does anyone know if there’s some sort of online portal or phone number that is the best place for me to pay all the taxes and fines and make sure that in their records I am even?

Moreover, scroll through Naval’s twitter replies on May 17 and you’ll see that he trolls en masse a bunch of people who want to debate him regarding Canada.

He’s human, we’re all human, but you can imagine someone looking at his trolling spree and feeling a little sad, as I did. I used to admire him a lot, especially the way he tried to teach the importance of keeping your cool

It’s a shame. He really did seem like a great guy and probably still has a lot of meaningful stuff to say. I think with the pandemic and the surge in his popularity combined, he didn’t know how to handle it and started acting immature on Twitter. (If you look at his tweets pre and post pandemic, they are very different. Pre pandemic, he seemed to stay truer to his principles of not wasting time on “status games” like social media fights). I guess the pandemic has really made (what seems like) even the best of us get a little more cuckoo
