I don't have a Mac environment, but I have researched a bit for devex purposes, and I would go with the Colima project as a open source solution for containers on mac. Have you tried it?

Do change the default name of the SSID, but avoid choosing a new one that sounds cool, fun, or original.

Take a look at the rest of networks on your area and choose an SSID name as similar as possible to the rest. Better keep a low profile than drawing unnecessary attention on yourself.

Technical writers: documentation by example is good only for newbies skimming through. People familiar with your product need a reference and exhaustive lists, not explanation for different fields spread over 10 tutorial pages. Focus on those that use the product day in and day out, not solely on the "onboarding" procedure.

Yes and no. These notices started last year, but back then targeted lower API levels, which is why OP might not have seen them until now.

But it's true that the first notice was sent months before the time limit, so he might have missed previous warnings.

Dan Kaminsky died three days ago, and someone recommended on the news thread his talk "The hidden architecture of our time", which goes about process isolation, cloud computing and infosec.

I watched it today, and funnily enough, he started by showcasing a fully working chrome browser inside a chrome tab, being serviced from a virtual machine of some cloud provider.

That talk was from five years ago.

Depends on your browser. On chrome, just long-press on the image until the context menu pops-up with the alt text on it.
