Airtable / Retool - Budibase
How do you feel about Airtable's recent pricing changes?
SQL as the database, Budibase for app building!
I get your concerns with no-code, but would you not agree that an Open Source alternative - with long-term viability - is a better investment.
How was it recommended?
Check out Budibase.
It's the leading open source low code platform and perfect for building UIs on top of spreadsheets
If you are developing software, imo, the toolchain has to be open source.
Are you actually calling Retool a true no code platform? You have to connect to an external datasource and you have to write JS.
Budibase, glide, Adalo are more no code.
Yes, but please don't tell no one
There is a future for specific use cases. For simple CRUD apps, workflows, admin panels there is a future. For SaaS applications, I am not as sure due to its feature-evolving / bespoke nature.
stick it to the man!
