I'm curious about the part where LL is talking about how to prove the 3 parts of the max() example's invariant (around 31:46) and omits #2. Did you all understand why this condition holds or are you now scared of AI replacing you, like me?

Hello.

I appreciate this gesture, and also feel nostalgic for the primordial internet. I try to hold on to what felt magical about it to me in the early days.

One of the remaining things left in my life that I feel passionate about is technology and programming. I've had a difficult time dealing with depression and that has cost me my career, but the one thing that keeps me going is learning new stuff and working toward mastery of my craft.

I hope you have a great day, as well :)

Arghh. That CodeEval problem is driving me nuts! I'm happily employed, but I love a good challenge. Is there any way you can send me more example input? CodeEval keeps coming back as a failure, but my output matches the challenge description.

Ruby and RoR, slow? This is a no-brainer. Ruby is slow as molasses and RoR is built upon Ruby. Hmmmmm....

"I also took a look at Django, and it struck me as astonishingly clunky compared to Rails and Nitro"

hahahahahahaha...

Fantastic essay. Now I'm all pumped up. As soon as I find a colleague that I want to share an office with, I'll be submitting an application :)
