People want to list everything on there resume, and that is the main problem. Most of the startup mvps and SMB softwares can easily be developed without any fancy tech, but developers will do it any way.

I remember a mid sized saas app of one client, built completely on plain vanilla php,css, javascript(jquery was used) and mysql database.

It was handling millions of request from thousands of paying clients without a hitch. Only fancy thing he did was an automatic backup system using custom script using replicated database. It just works.

Short selling is not immoral but the planned manipulation of market with mass shorting perticular stock is. It can be tackled by imposing the maximum cap of 3-4 percent of a company value by single trader. So at least 20-30 traders are required to do such mass manipulation.

In case of starting a company in USA use stripe atlas with virtual address, and get an agency who files taxes for you, consoder total yearly cost to $15k.

I would say,it is difficulty to access of technology. Inkjet Printers are either pizo or heat nozel based, both tech works at microlevel and are built with semiconductor based fabrication methods, which is mostly outof reach of enthusiasts.

I really liked the feature, Once on my win7, I installed a cheap plug-n-play network card with realtech microcontroller. Assuming,it will work outof box. It didn't. Then I just used my mobile for usb tethering, quickly launch the automatic search from settings and thats all. It found the needed drivers automatically.

If your product is stable and usable by use, they dont give a damn about its internals. It should good enough for test case. I use vanilla php and posgresql/mysql mostly. They are well matured, stable and have known issues. The website I made for a small college in 2008 is still live and working seamlessly, only changes I detected in last few years on it, were related to styling and formatting content.

Yes, that is completely fine. Unlike others I will advise you to start with statically typed language for start. No serious work just small tasks. Qbasic will be good start. Use for few weeks then jump to python or whatever you prefer.

Focus primeraly on your job, unless your sideproject is capable to support you financially. If you project has some traction, try taking mini vacation of month and work fulltime on it to achieve initial milestones.

I got my first smart phone six months ago, Surprisingly it eats too much of time. For last 9 years I have been using nokia x201 qwerty phone, still it is my main phone. The main reason I use new smartphone is whatsapp, otherwise all other tasks can be performed on my dev machine.
