Go seems to be a favorite language to hate, and yet, there's a lot of awesome software in the world because of it. It's simply and lack of features was intentional; not a design flaw. It was built by some of the premier computer scientists of our age not for lacking of knowledge of modern language features but intentionally avoiding complexity.
Choose Rust and C++ for building your next OS, but Go is great when I need to build a web service that's fast enough and hire a team that may not know the language walking in the door but can be productive quickly.

Sorry for folks with eczema, but maybe it's about the soap you're using versus not using soap. I've had the misfortune of working with people who thought showering was optional and it's not pleasant. So unless you want to offend others and be referred to as the stinky co-worker please wash.
This is a ridiculous statement. Intel, Facebook, Microsoft, Google, Apple were all founded by US Citizens.
CCPA is probably at least part of the reason behind this. It takes effect on Jan 1. The article mentions users not being about to accept their privacy policy.
John Doerr's book references Intel and Google heavily to gain credibility for the OKR methodology. Can someone from either of those organizations chime in with their experience?
