This country needs a lot more talented & gifted students to excel and if we are to compete with China and others. Instead, now a lot of these NYC school kids will instead be waiting while the teacher calms down the trouble-makers/unmotivated kids instead of behind challenged further academically. Like you said, it's leftist progressive dogma. To what extent can the incoming mayor reverse this?

Are you offering to volunteer your place to live? A lot of things, like slavery and public beheadings were done 400 years ago, which aren't done today. Any other arguments you can provide to make your case rather than revisionist history?
You asked a question, I tried to provide an answer to it which is reflective of the common viewpoint.
Who will pay for all the social services required? The existing tax paying citizen via increases taxes and lowered standard of living. We already have a shortage of housing, overcrowding in schools & major budget deficits. No, open borders are not the answer - no country has/allows them because of the reasons above.

Can you paraphrase it?
Why should tax payers have to pay for many degrees that are worthless (undergraduate + graduate)?
And yet people continue to move to the South and out of liberal disasters where it's all tax, tax, tax and waste money.
Baby boomers did better than their parents in general
I was more than fine with the steps taken in Afghanistan after 9/11. Iraq, not so much.
How quickly a generation forgets the horrors of 9/11.
He would have done in a more controlled manner, and slow down if necessary - not let it get to this point where it's a total takeover by the Taliban while Biden is vacationing.
He was also the first president in 40 years to NOT start a war.
Billions of dollars allocated for rental relief is tied up in state capitals. One can count on the government to demonstrate inefficiency.
Why 32? Why not 22? Why not 10? What's the reasoning here.
Why is the above being downvoted? It's very likely a contributing factor to rise in un sales.
Yet another "feel good" policy pushed for by rich progressives in California which makes them sleep better while hurting the lower and middle class.
How much woke virtue signaling can one take? Even Bill Maher agrees.
Yay large government budgets.... aided by billions given to states via the stimulus. Meanwhile, inflation
Please call out these companies by name
It'd be good if such companies were identified and called out for it.
Something is either being censored or it's not. Regardless of the issue, I'll side with the side that is not censoring information.
The people on the "right side of history" are usually fighting for freedom and liberty, not censorship and re-education camps
Trump - first president in over 40 years to NOT start a war.
"I am in no way advocating that employees should be allowed to post or disseminate any sort of hate speech" -> you want freedom of expression yet support what others will claim as "hate speech". If hate speech is something that someone disagrees is with or is slightly offended, then there's no freedom of expression.
Same here - you've paid for other to have this privilege. There is no free lunch.
This is not a good thing. The government (funded by tax payers who work and produce) is paying people while they are not producing to the economy. Someone pays for this, through taxes and lowered value of the dollar/purchase power for those who do work. There is no free lunch.
Also - you say 2 million is OK... what if it were 20 mil, 200 mil who got paid while not working. Who would pay for this?
If your kids stay out of trouble, they won't be interacting much with them. These people literally put their lives on the line for public safety.
You can just plead the 5th and the lawyer will do the lying for you
You'll Own Nothing And Be Happy About It
LeBron James criticized for saying Rockets GM 'misinformed' on Hong Kong "It's sad to see him join the chorus kowtowing to Community China & putting profits over human rights for #HongKong," Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., tweeted.
Profits first
NY Times is not a platform
She also very strongly condemned what happened on Jan 6 and blamed Trump for it. She's right on both fronts.
