You still could use bitbucket. It allows to create unlimited amount of private repos with max of 5 users.

When you comfortable with JavaScript, there is nothing can scare you in TypeScript.

The only thing is - to get a best you need to prepare. If you using some library, I should find (or write, or generate) proper definition file for this library (Interface). But when you get all together - you have a lot of happy hours of coding :)

I'm sorry, I'm not a Ruby developer and hope never would :) From my prospect - all languages, which has no brackets are ugly and simular to ruby.

Btw, based on typescript discussions, they are going to implement async/await functionality too.

You're absolutely right. I'm an C# dev who switched to JavaScript stack and using TypeScript already for 5-6 months. It was just a first-look description for the TypeScript.

Btw, TypeScript also aiming to fix context problem so in callbacks 'this' keyword is always related to parent class.

Nope.

It is running on Linux/Mac/Windows (node.js module).

And already has support in all major IDE (Visual Studio, IntelliJ) and text editors (Sublime, Emacs, ..)

TypeScript is a language for application-scale JavaScript development. TypeScript is a typed superset of JavaScript that compiles to plain JavaScript. Any browser. Any host. Any OS. Open Source.

Btw, I've used it a lot, feel free to ask any questions.

It's open-source, man. I did not changed any copyrights or licenses.

Btw, I was impressed with what I saw today morning and just wanted to share my impression with other guys.

But when you open their demo site - all ok?

Maybe you should try profile this page to understand what's going on.

The main differences - all layout now responsive so no need to include bootstrap-responsive.css and use row-fluid, container-fluid. All stuff already always fluid now.

Second main point - the framework now mobile ready - that mean a lot of mobile optimisations and widgets for mobile devices.

Whoops... But I think a lot of people are want see whats new.

I think, I will turn it down after a while...
