They call the dijkstra implementation slow but that's because they aren't using the full information it presents. Dijkstra gives shortest paths from one node to every other node in the graph, so you run it once and materialize it and now you have a full Kevin Bacon database

I don't understand why constexpr allocated memory can't be freed at runtime. It's not so different from statically allocated memory being freed at runtime. Maybe it requires hooks into malloc so the compile time allocations can be known at the start of the run?

I suppose they're talking about utilitarianism? But that's hand wavey math at best. Eg the whole "torture someone for 50 years or remove a speck of dust from trillions of eyeballs" debate. Those who chose the torture see utility as strictly additive and I'm not aware of any strict definition of utility which requires this. So any math in that instance is built on a shaky or even illusionary foundation.

I use radios in a hybrid approach. I'll make a radio, find a song I like, and then go play the album through and let Spotify start recommending, and repeat. Tends to make enough variety to get me to all sorts of interesting places
