As an atheist I do think there is too many people in tech who have a tendency to shit on religion, without considering anyone else around. I agree, there is no god. Lets not go around calling anyone who believes in it idiots, because no good comes of that.

I felt like calling out a coworker for recent conduct I think was incredibly petty, immature, and damaging to a relationship with another team. I do think you should be able to say some of this stuff in a casual conversation at lunch, or whatever. You have to be aware of your audience though.

I am opposed to a national ID on a very specific point: It can be used as a tool for voter suppression if not done correctly.

Having a free, low barrier, nationally accepted ID would help to disarm the weapon of voter suppression by ID demands.

An awful lot of people aren't at all interested in accurate. They want the biased news source that doesn't bother reporting things that will piss them off, and blows the things they like out of proportion. Any sources that don't do this are just fake news, biased, unreliable, etc...

You have papers with excellent track records for accurate reporting getting blasted as fake news constantly.
