I think this money could be used much more effectively by attacking other more pressing issues (like child nutrition). Climate Change is not such a cut-and-dry situation, it's difficult to parse out the facts from the political commentary/posturing. Bjorn Lomborg articulates all this better than I ever could.
One other valuable thing about office jobs is that they're usually a stepping stone to other higher paying office jobs, whereas as a waiter there's not really any position to move up to.

I had a physician recommend VSL3 (the powder form). I believe you can buy it w/o a prescription, and it's available at most Costcos. My understanding is the powder is more bio-available than any pill form.
