Great for surveillance.

One can get someones browsing history from an ISP from a data broker and run queries on it.

Digital society under government surveillance is like that Marina Abromovic performance where they were free to do whatever they wanted with her while she couldnt react and they tried to kill her. If you enable the police, you just find they are a bunch of barely held back sadists.

I heard this at university from my professors, and I hated it so much, not just because I hate writing by hand, but because it never had any benefit for me.

In fact, writing by hand prevented me from paying attention, because I was writing nonstop with no pause to think. Instead, I didnt write anything, and got photocopies, improving my learning and grades.

Instead of blaming corporations for following the law, blame the laws and the government for what they force others to do.

It is not up to corporations to decide which laws should be enforced, and this again shows how futile this specific kind of corporate resistence is.

Just change the law.
