Wow. "Makes teens feel unsafe"? Care to explain that?
The rest of your comment is so absurd I'm not going to bother asking.

The same kind of people who condemned Woodward and Bernstein for investigating and reporting on Watergate.
Seized property should be held in a neutral escrow account until the case is adjudicated, and then automatically returned to the victim if they are not convicted of a crime within a reasonable time.
Someone once said to me that he had no interest in going to Europe because "the US has every kind of landscape that Europe does," as if there is no other reason to travel but to see natural scenery.
Trumpists: "Good! We don't want none of them furriners in our country, and we sure as hail don't want to visit theirs."
The biggest issue where I live (Philadelphia) is the plague of motorcycles and cars with exhaust systems deliberately altered to maximize the noise generated. The police won't do a damn thing about it. Most people seem to accept and even defend this situation with one of the following retorts: 1. With all the murders and other crimes, the police should not be wasting time on this. 2. That's just how cities are; if you don't like it, move to the suburbs. 3. Kids are just having fun, Karen!
By the way, I've lived in the suburbs, and the situation with leaf blowers is just as maddening.
Read it again...she did not break any law. At most, she should have been given a chance to turn back and try again once she worked out the paperwork. But for Trumpists like you, the cruelty is icing on the cake.
In Trump's America, it is cruelty for its own sake. I'm sure he's especially gleeful about this happening to a Canadian.
I would not apply unless I was desperate for a job, or if enough time had passed or leadership had changed that I felt sure it was no longer the same company. The way companies treat applicants should be seen as a reflection of how they would treat employees.
Embarrassing.
One helicopter is loud enough to be heard miles away. Imagine the sky full of thousands of these vehicles! This is a nightmare that needs to be nipped in the bud.
I saw the government-owned groceries when I travelled in Eastern Europe in the 1980's. Sure, prices were low, but shelves were often bare, and people waited in long lines waiting for food to appear. Seems this guy thinks he can attract voters back to the Democratic party by emulating this system.
This looks like the sort of thing one sees in a freshman sociology or social psychology class, regurgitates for the exam, and then forgets.
Until it reappears in the annual corporate team-building session, after you've been given your Myers-Briggs type.
I am not a lawyer, but I'm pretty certain that a plan like this is blatantly unconstitutional. Harris knows this too, and knows it will never happen, but it may buy a few votes in the meantime.
To be sure, I'll vote for her anyway, because it's not as batshit crazy (or dangerous) as many of her opponent's plans.
You're literally the only person I've ever heard calling Fungwah riders "elite."
Does anyone dispute that the private equity ghouls are the scum of the earth? I would love to see an administration with the balls to lock them all up, but I fear the politicians of both parties are too beholden to them for their donations.
It was curious to see the Harvard group expressing concern about the percentage of black freshmen dropping by a "huge" amount (from 18% to 14%). Given that blacks represent about 13% of the US population, what proportion would they consider is a "fair" representation?
So these bros work long hours for a couple of years, making more money than I've ever made in my career as an engineer, then become private equity ghouls shutting down hospitals or their dad's factory. Somebody give me a handkerchief!
I thought back then that Saudi Arabia deserved to be considered part of the "Axis of Evil" at least as much as Iraq. But we needed the oil and the military bases.
I know a number of software engineers who have gone on to teach high school C.S. or math classes, mostly at private schools or special magnet tech schools. They don't make as much money, but seem to be happier and can have summers off.
That's like waiting until someone is killed before putting up a traffic light.
In every house I've lived in the US, the postal box was attached to the house near the front door.
That socialization may account for some of the cases, but there are too many "gentle" family dogs that may be fine until they jump over the fence and kill a child.
I agree. Pitbulls should be regarded as a public health threat like smallpox or the aedes aegypti mosquito, and eradicated.
People love to describe their pitbulls as "gentle" and "loving" until they rip the baby's face off.
When people are chanting "From the River to the Sea..." and "Globalize the Intifada," how does that pertain to the US government?
"As many as 150,000 people have died...Another nine million have been forced from their homes." Where are the protests on US college campuses? I guess this doesn't matter, because they can't blame it on Jews.
I worked at a company with a technician who clearly did not understand this. When I asked him to order an assortment of resistors with a range of values, he came back to me and said that Digikey did not have most of them. Turns out he had submitted a request for quote, listing desired values in a linear progression: 1 ohm, 2 ohm, 3 ohm, 4 ohm, etc.
It's not very effective, then. Back when most people were masked, I had little trouble recognizing most people from the uncovered parts; facial recognition software is even better at it.
And many of these masked activists are happy to give their names for attribution in social media or quotes for the press.
Actually, "Hamas should run the entire Levant" does seem to be the view of a lot of these protesters. And "opinions you dislike" is an oddly mild characterization of the actual slaughter of gays that happens under Hamas and other Islamist regimes.
