Homebrew 5.0.0 8 months ago

I was planning to keep using my Intel Mac for a few more years, so this is a bit disappointing. The note about “macOS Intel x86_64 will move to Tier 3, dropping CI support, and no additional bottles will be built” sounds like Homebrew is basically ending active support soon. Does anyone know what the timescale is for deprecating macOS Intel entirely? It feels like devs are moving on from Intel Macs even faster than Apple itself. Maybe I’m misunderstanding what “Tier 3” actually means here, but if no bottles are built anymore, that’s going to make installs a lot less convenient.

Found a link, and tier 3 sounds brutal. Time to look for alternatives... :(

I've been meaning to give this WM a try, but never got around to it. Has anybody switched from yabai? I've been using it since the chunkwm days so it became second nature to me on macOS. It would be interesting to see how both of them compare and what the benefits and drawbacks are.

I think some of the UI elements are not placed intuitively. The close file button should be on the top right side and the button to collapse the sidebar should be inside the sidebar (top left) and not next to it (when the sidebar is displayed of course).

Interesting. The UI looks way better than Lutris and Heroic Launcher. Anyone tried all three of them and went with Bottles? I first tried Lutris and then switched to Heroic, but I am not too keen about Electron apps, although Heroic works quite well.

Congrats on the app launch. As a heavy RSS user myself I'll give this a spin. I am coming from NetNewsWire.

First impression after adding my OPML: - I don't think the main feature "Beautiful typography" is true nor do I want it. Please give us the option to use the default macOS system font. The one currently in use makes it look like a Microsoft app (segeo ui or something).

- Please add a default macOS theme as well. The app should have a standard window background with an accent color set in system preferences. Of course, it should also respect day/night mode. This will be the main reason why I can not switch. I don't like any of the available themes.

- "Handling of summary-only feeds" - I can't find this in the interface at all. How does it work and where do I activate it?

- I think the padding above the article looks a bit off.

I will update my feedback when I have some time to use it more.

What is the cheapest setup to deploy Payload CMS? Only used hosted headless CMS so far (Netlify CMS, Forestry & FrontAid CMS). Do I need a VPS at Hetzner? I guess Netlify will not work because I can't have Mongo DB there?
