I mainly use firefox as well, but as lots of the people I have other browsers installed just in case. I like it, it’s fast and reliable for me, and I don’t want only-chrome future.

I’ve kinda browser wrapper thing with a chrome based browser for few google apps, like Keep, Gmail and Calendar on Windows.

And how much is it in your local currency that you’re getting paid for.

My EPSON flatbed film scanner is bad, especially for 120mm film, but… that was cheaper than 10 rolls of film scanned in low res for me.

I have tried gohugo + gitlab, just because portability of md files. I would pay small fee for a service which provide a more user friendly IU*. Small fee because i am writing very rarely, and in this subscription ridden world, i am already enough recurring payments.

Forestry.io was confusing because i am dumb.

Thanks to the idea that i’ll own a steamdeck at some point, i am buying hugely discounted old games. Till now i was playing some vendor-locked free games or simulations. Idea of having all my steam library in the future is exciting. Hope Valve won’t go down anytime soon.

Yeah. That’s the reason for DJs there is a license for “working copy” (bastard SIAE), especially if you’re downloading digitally and copying it to usb disk. If you are playing vinyl, they can suck my tonearm!

Since I was moving between cities and countries, i started to give away books that i’ve read as a present to my friends. Only fictions though, that I usually never read them again. It’s also nice way to have someone to discuss and talk about them.

It’s useless to upgrade with every new version (if you are not upgrading your camera); unfortunately all the companies slapping minor upgrades and making it a number release.

I suggest Lightroom 6 for those who has older camera, otherwise discounted standalone version of Capture One (often goes in discounts). DAM feature is great in Lightroom; but this can be resolved by using some other app Can not wait to ditch Lightroom though. C1 is great for tethered sessions.

Rethinking DAM, i think i need just a good filemanager, i am already organizing my folder by myself.

If you are working in professional environment as a photographer, Capture One is a quite gold standard for photographer. In anycase, retouching is done in Photoshop.

“Customers should be encouraged to use alternative channels (Internet banking, mobile banking apps, USSD, cards/POS, eNaira, etc.) to conduct their banking transactions.”

Yes, i’m serious. I don’t see anything directed to use strictly CBDC here. They seem like to tackle tax evasion for business and individuals (read it like: traceable) In many countries there are limits on what you can do with cash already.

Capitalism looks bad on paper and we are having hellish landscape in it and pretend it’s working.

Cryptocurrencies current landscape is just same as the current financial system indeed. Cypherpunk ideals are long gone.

Tom Tom used to charge for map updates, which became a no-go for many. The same thing thing with built-in ones. Toyota asked 60 euro for the map updates and unfortunately no android/ios auto.. i am going between google maps / apple maps. I find routes better in google maps but i love apple maps voice indications better. I still have also a free lifetime update tomtom but it very slow to add destination etc.
