Just ignore them.

I know nothing of agriculture but I would think corn is much more sustainable than coffee beans. So it’s a step in the right direction at least, isn’t it?
What’s the argument against this exactly? Your doctor measures your healthiness and if you try to get insured, it’s priced accordingly. Older driver feel like they’re being discriminated against? Just take a simulation like this and prove your reflexes are within their defined spectrum of acceptability.
“Everything I don’t like is an alt-right dogwhistle”
The whole term “The Great Reset” just doesn’t sit well with me. Then again “New World Order” didn’t either.
Am I the only one who doesnt use cloud services/iot for these very reasons? Never felt “right” handing all my personal photos and messages to Apple or M$, and owning an appliance or gadget that’s connected to the big bad internet just seems like a privacy violation waiting to happen.
Dark City’s changes, like most of the time a studio interferes with a creator’s vision, is all about profitability. It’s too risky financially to make a film that does not have wide appeal. It’s nothing personal, just business. And when they test these films they take any criticism rather harshly. They simply don’t have the time or the foresight to find out if people will like it after a little bit.
What did they get wrong?
Because Heidegger's writing is so difficult and so open to interpretation (and re-interpretation), many philosophers disagree strongly about what he actually meant.
There’s a bit of a joke out there about Heidegger’s difficulty. “Heidegger is impossible to translate - especially into German”
What
Suisse Dutsch might as well be its own language.
Thanks for the protip, seriously. Didnt know that could be a work around
Bad HW support is a meme, granted NVIDIA is its own issue. I’ve installed all sorts of linux distros on all sorts of old and new hardware. And I have never had an issue regarding stuff like bluetooth or wireless or cameraa or anything else I keep hearing about. I might be lucky but I’d rather think Linux has been more supportive than not.
I gotta see that hoodoo
Well, not exactly. You need to have a certain level of competancy to be an effective lawyer. Those who arent “good enough” for the better law schools are often preyed upon by overpriced and underresourced schools to give false hope those who couldnt cut the mustard. Not saying you cant be successful if you go to a crappy school, but the chances of it happening are slim to none. Just look at pass rates of Whittier (I think they’re shut down now) or Thomas Jefferson and then look at the tuiton rates. And this isn’t even counting the non-ABA approved schools...
While I do agree the CA bar is tougher than it should be, a lot of the low passage rate comes from graduates of less-than-stellar schools. If you look into passage rate per school it’s naturally much better at the higher ranked universities.
Think I’m gonna read that behind a paywall?
It’s not the R rating necessarily, it’s how they’ve sanitized the story. The whole book is rife with islamic/arabic and at least from the trailer they’ve anglicized everything, which doesn’t give me much hope. I really don’t see a reason for it.
How about hollywood starts making GOOD content again?
Librewolf has been a lifesaver, I highly suggest people check it out. https://librewolf-community.gitlab.io/
Bogus claims? Ok anecdotal evidence but I went to the eye doctor with my sibling when I was 8 and she was 10. We BOTH were proscribed the same glasses. I ended up wearing them all the time, and grew up to having a -4.0 by the time I was 30 My sibling? She never wore her glasses growing up and oddly enoug has perfect vision in her mid 30’s
Now granted I spent most of my time growing up playing on the computer and reading - but I was wearing my glasses the whole time so year by year it got worse. Eye doctors say “oh youre just growing into your eyes” when they know that’s not the case. Look at how many children have (pseudo)-myopia due to growing up with smartphones and tablets 24/7. It’s not hard to figure out.
Now I don’t think there’s an exact science to curing myopia but at the very least everyone should practice the 20/20/20 rule and wear their distance glasses as little as possible. Just those 2 things can save you from developing pseudomyopia.
That guy’s a weirdo. Look up Cliff Gnu’s no BS guide to sight improvement and it’s all you need.
I have dropped 1.75 in one year. And this is without being super intense
So it’s true?!!
Isnt antitrust one of the hottest issues right now? What with FB and Google just buying all their conpetition
Really? I am German and I identify as European since my country belongs to the European Union. But I must be nobody.
Being a woman was her whole selling point. How many articles were written about her being a woman who “could be the next Steve Jobs”? And honestly no one points the finger at the VCs who took a RISKY investment in hopes of getting super rich. What’s that statistic about 9/10 startups failing for then?
People laugh at the absurdity of IoT yet couldn’t live without a smart tv. Do “dumb” TVs even exist any more?
Ok, so as long as I am not hospitalized with covid I am not putting anyone else’s life in danger. I’m lucky I am in one of the least effected demographics then. Of course no one knows whether or not they’ll have a good response but that’s a risk I’m willing to take based on the data I’ve seen.
How does not being vaccinated put anyone else’s life in danger? As far as I am aware, the vaccine does not prevent you from getting or spreading it, only reduces the symptoms drastically.
Honestly, I think this is good for Tahoe in the long run. The NIMBYs who constantly block development are getting a taste of their own medicine. When they’re finally fed up with the low staff and poor service they’ll see the need for affordable housing.
