99.9% of the time, "deserve" applies to that which one has. Kind of like people who are confused about "respect".. they believe that when an ally tells them a truth they don't like, it is "disrespectful", and when a liar lies to them in a way they find pleasant, it's "respectful", when in both cases, the opposite is true.

A newborn hasn't "earned" what they have, but they deserve it because it is, and because their ancestors earned it for them. The wealthiest/healthiest people aren't people who at some point in their life learned a healthy diet, how to exercise, and to earn a high wage.. The healthiest/wealthiest people are those who had ancestors who sacrificed to earn, preserve, and teach, health/wealth to their descendants.

There are some people who spend money before they get it, and there are others who earn and save for their great grandkids who they don't expect to meet. The great grandkids don't earn their place when they're born, but their parents, grandparents, and great grandparents earned that place for them.

When people understand that IQ is inherited, and can't really be permanently increased (but can be permanently decreased through abuse, malnutrition, etc.), and that children require growing up in a family with married parents all living together to be healthy, their children will be far better off than those of people who don't realize those two things. If one lives their life accordingly, they will earn the several advantages for their children. It will be their child's to build from for future generations, or squander.

TL/DR; Elite backgrounds are "elite" for a reason. It is deserved, and based in merit.

It might be that GM, and Ford, will sell more EVs than Tesla by 2025, which would mean people stopped purchasing Teslas. I didn't think it possible for GM or Ford to manufacture more EVs than Tesla by 2025, though.

The problem comes when liars have to perpetually maintain so many lies that they must persecute anyone courageous enough to speak the truth. Here's the thing about freedom, Earth, and humanity.. there is only nation that exists for the sole purpose of protecting the inalienable rights of the individual. The brave who would be free should live only there. The cowards who would be slaves should live literally anywhere else. I think you misunderstood my point. The democratic process is obsolete, aside from a show of hands. I'm not suggesting that we should therefore go with a show of hands.. I am suggesting that we should understand that voting is now a pretense meant to get us all to go along with whatever corruption.

Verifying an election process is one thing. If you're saying that if we can verify an election, and it can still be corrupted by criminals, so be it. All the more reason to end the farce. Sticking our head in the sand in pretending it's viable is not reasonable, and is perilous.

Musk made them an offer with contingencies. If they're not providing data to meet the contingencies, they're defaulting for whatever reason, including possibly that they misrepresented their product. If they do provide data, and the contingencies aren't met, there is no deal, as they misrepresented their product. If they provide data, and the contingencies are met, Musk would be in default to not close. There is chance Musk was bluffing, but it seems likely the other way around. I don't know how it could be that Twitter would think Musk wouldn't check to verify what he was purchasing. Seems a huge waste of time.

I suspect that Musk was willing to purchase Twitter if legitimate, and knew if Twitter was fraudulent, this process would shed light on it. If the deal is void due to Twitter misrepresenting itself, Musk can invest in a legitimate venture instead.

I don't see a whole lot of reason for speculation. The deal will close, or it will not. Chances are, Musk wasn't kidding when he made the offer, which means if it doesn't close, Twitter misrepresented itself.

As long as liars can claim that everything they oppose is bigoted, and adults listen to them, your hopes won't be recognized.

The democratic process, other than instances where it can be independently verifiable, like a show of hands in a room, or on a blockchain, is obsolete. It is a pretense for criminals to occupy and corrupt.

Everyone will likely hand over whatever they can... which means the most decentralized options which leave as little to hand over as possible are best.

It seems you are the one who is confused. The America you are describing does not exist. The idea you have, that people can stay as long as they don't oppose what "hitovst thinks is best" is pretty arrogant.

Let's not misconstrue what I am saying. Considering that everyone who has influence in the political structure of the US, has the right and duty to use the system to protect the rights of the individual. This is accurate, and true. The fact that we don't have this is due to corruption, confused useful idiots, and criminals who betray their oaths.

There is no such "right" as the right to violate another.

The US is not a democracy, or tyranny of the largest group which is almost never a majority, for a reason. It is a Constitutionally restricted republic with the sole purpose of protecting the rights of the individual. The Constitution doesn't grant rights, but restrict government from violating them. There is no such thing as legitimate government anywhere that violates the right of the individual, but in the US the Law is officially recognized.

Do not let our lawless (by that I mean, "criminal" as the law of the land is very clear, just violated) society fool you. The United States is occupied and sabotaged. If Americans ever regained control, the saboteurs would be brought to justice, and removed. This won't happen.. but it should happen, and it was the design.

It's not my imagination. If you study the design, you will see what was meant to be. Had the intention been for tyranny of the largest group, or even another individual, it would have been designed as a democracy, or a monarchy, or any other system that already enabled such things.

However, we don't disagree about the criminal state of the US today, and the lack of justice for those who corrupt it. The fact that slavers/slaves won't allow a single lawful political region to exist anywhere one Earth should beg the question if it should exist, especially since the slavers have the useful idiot slaves paying lip service to the notion of "tolerance", and "pro choice", when it serves the herding. If one comes to a nation based on principles of individual rights, and they are not activists opposing the individual rights, they're just confused, and should be ignored as long as they don't violate the rights of others, but they are free (despite their opposition to it) to stay and be confused.

I made no claims about people who do not vote. I stated the truth; that voting is a mechanism to defend individual rights. There is no such thing as a right to vote to violate the rights of others.

If you are for individual rights, than you belong in a nation based on the principle of individual rights, whether you vote or not. If you oppose individual rights, you belong least of all on a nation based on the principle of individual rights, but your "vote" is illegitimate and should not be tolerated, as you'd be a saboteur.

Those who would be free have one nation on the planet meant for them. Cowards, tyrants, and willing slaves, have the entire rest of the planet to suffer. Those who oppose freedom don't reside in the one place meant to be free with good intention. If they just haven't left yet, they could easily find help leaving asap.

I think it is to Tesla's long term advantage that they don't seem to constrain themselves to the norm. Despite the ridicule, there is a reason why Teslas are shaped the way that they are. I think that their willingness to offer an optimal design, regardless of familiarity, will mean that they're known for superior range and performance.. and I think a year or two after Cybertrucks have been in the wild, the stainless steel body will prove to be valuable.

Having said that, I think it is probably a good move by Ford to essentially fit the 150 as an EV, and keep the minimum price point. Over the long term, it may be that Tesla's designs are optimal, but in the short term, Ford is offering a popular design as an EV, which should be immediately accepted, and get them in the EV market.

The one thing that struck me as a possible issue with Ford's customers is the embracing of the two way charging, and the selling of Lightning as a backup battery for the home. While it is possible, it may not be a very good idea outside of an emergency situation, and could lead to disappointment in the battery life.

I think it is a mistake not to link to apps in F-Droid, as the more this appeals to someone, the less likely they are to use Google products.

Cities/specialization is a luxury. The trade off is relationship to reality. People who build tangible things with their hands are relatively more grounded in reality.

The more people who can and do use an "app for that" in their daily lives, and are hours away from whatever they need/want, the fewer tradesman there likely will be.

The pendulum swinging back in the direction of builders is when all the specialists have to bid against each other, exchanging an acceptable medium of exchange, for the tradesman's services, as they can do little themselves.

The more densely populated the area, the more likely it will seem there are a shortage of carpenters, or other tradesman, and in the more rural, free, and independent , areas, the less the need for carpenters, as there are fewer specialists, and more capable, "Jack of all trades", types.

There is no such thing as "upgrading" a right. What we must do is enforce the Constitutional restrictions on state.

The Constitution does not grant rights, but official recognize them, and prohibit any government from violating them.

Confusing the nature of rights, and the jurisdiction of the Constitution, is part of the reason we suffer a criminal society.
