I agree everyone needs to obey the rules of the road... But the situation is such that when a cyclist disobeys rules, it never causes the automobile driver to die. Whereas when a giant SUV disobeys the rules, it can kill a cyclist.
Disclaimer: I live in Florida. State with the highest cyclist death rates.

The banjo is no more a "hackers's" instrument than any other instrument. All of the article's points apply to musical instruments in general.
No.. Its not.. Sorry
I'm interested to hear more about this one... I'm working for a startup and my wife is in med school
Interesting point about driving.. Since I'm a driver, I wonder how many 'polyphasic' zombies I encounter out on the road? My dad has always told me that sleep deprivation is a significant cause of car wrecks. I'm sure there's research to support this if you google around.
So basically I hate these people. They should do something else with their free time, instead of endangering others with their zombie-driving.
In fact, hidden all the way at the bottom of the article is the rather relevant fact that the divorce rate in the UK has been falling recently, just as the popularity of Facebook has shot upwards. It seems like you'd have to suggest a lot more to prove that Facebook is to blame for these divorces, rather than just an additional element in the proceedings.
I hate this kind of misunderstanding of statistics...
