And like another commenter said, not every "Pro" user is a developer. I for one just take the Pro as meaning, better/faster.

Rather think of a regular consumer, of which there are a lot more. Just doing a bit of browsing on the sofa, writing a few emails, reading news, watching Netflix in bed or playing some game.
Personally, I read a lot of papers and ebooks I get via university on it. It's great for that. Not once did I want to use SSH on it, with or without an external keyboard. I use a proper laptop or computer for stuff like that.
This is also a regularly used method by psychotherapists. At least in Germany (and I guess all over Europe at least).

I've seldomly seen a PhD student in CS here in Germany with a proper software engineering background. I know several that use Dropbox for version control on their code and don't know how to use git. Some at least know and use svn.
That stuff just isn't thought at universities and it's assumed, like oh so many things, that you take it up along the way.

Roughly two years out of university, but worked part time all the time and took a while to finish my master in CS. Lots of knowledge in ML and DL.
Pay is 53k for a position at the university and will be 56k with 38h weeks next year. (Don't ask me for the hours at the university, thinking about it will make me cry) And the regular 30 vacation days.
That is actually not too far of from what Dell is doing with their SSD prices when you configure a system. Or memory for that matter. So I'm not really sure what all that comparison fuss is all about. I never see a "I just built a cheaper system with same specs" comment for a Dell system.

Why not less focused work over more years? The argument makes zero sense to me.
Of course a lot of study and also applying what you learned are important. But having a PhD says very little about a person's ability to do data science or machine learning work. Especially since most phds have an extreme focus on their narrow field.
Regarding children. It helps to sleep in a different room a few days of the week. Especially if they are still sleeping in the regular bed room.
I honestly don't get why people recommend cmder. It's really slow, even compared to the slower terminals on Linux. Also, and more importantly, xterm emulation seems to be utterly broken. I get weird incorrect lines shown all the time.
I found the WSL console to be a at least a bit more reliable.

Sorry, but for a lot of situations n-grams just don't scale. There are just way too many combinations. There are a lot of people dealing with GBs and TBs of text.
That is not a viable option for many people working in nature. Farmers, sheperds, folks working in a Zoo, etc. They not have to take antibiotics constantly.
