It has taken LLMs to encourage companies to prioritise a clean codebase, tickets with unambiguous context and examples of what is right and wrong when onboarding new team members.

If only we cared so much for junior developers.

This is interesting in light of the discussion on hacker news yesterday, where folk were talking about how they had to learn how to make games work on early PCs, given limitations that aren't present to the young today.
