still the same, man. the fact is it's hard to make it run on my mac and hard to find cheap asp.net hosting just prevent me and some other ppl loving it.

asp.net is a nice platform, i admit but i will still recommend php/rails for beginner.

pain in the ass. for web dev , rails/php are better choices. for a beginner, they are really simple.

there is another source telling that they sold out 30 million downloads /year. so the profit must be really high.

mostly android app earn income via ads , sales in google app store are really bad. no body is buying.

beside, i have a macbook pro and a wins work station. i'm still checking if i can install mac osx on my PC hardware.

mac is good platform but rarely adopted because of the cost. i still prefer PC for its unbelievable cheap price

i think it is a joke, you guys here already mentioned multiplication/division are expensive operations, so a simple hash just works well. and who care the complicated way if the simple way just makes the job done nicely. programming is an art.

i wish he will earn more money doing this way. there is a news here about Quoc Bui and Mike Moon from thefreeapps.com who did earn 80k/month by ads from their iphone apps. i hope android apps will yield the same.

partially agree, i do believe to become a good programmer takes years but today tech help you to do programming more easily, like PHP and its frameworks. So it depends on how hard the problem you are solving is. Someone can pick up decent html/css lessons in shorter time and build a prototype, he then can hire other later when profit.

RAC is very competitive, i suggest you move to elance or odesk or guru, where you can get decent paid projects. And portfolio is a must to win the bids there. i am in odesk for 3 yrs and now work as long term contractor for a US firm in Chino, CA. All thru odesk. i dont have enough patience with elance, it is overly more competitive
