Nothing, because those "GPU's" are special proprietary hardware and are not what most people are capable of plugging in into anything.

So, if it's that easy and fast to "copy" Fable, is it really worth that much in the first place?
Sounds like the opposite of the conversation Anthropic would want to have.
It's not about the heat radiating from the data center, it's about the noise generated trying to cool the beast.
The power usage is massive, and that's still a very much limited resource for which everyone competes for.
Adding to your edit: Would you feel the same about adding an AI data center on top of the iron casting foundry you already have to deal with?
The main grifters care for neither.
Your dad's data centers are very different to the new GPU focused beasts.
The AI data centers consume a lot more power, and thus generate a lot more heat(equals cooling noise) per square meter.
This is the reason why it's a new problem right now.
Edit: autocorrect used breasts instead of beasts.
Marketing bullshit aside, this is just bots in chat rooms, right? Am I the crazy one?
Forbidding distillation is like forbidding using a compiler to make another(perhaps better, more efficient) compiler.
That "wall" doesn't exist anymore. Trump tore it down.
I don't really care, in a most positive way towards you.
I don't hold you accountable even if you twirled your mustache like a villain. You are not responsible for Claude Code. Why did the leadership set up such a weak, error-prone process?
Again, not asking you directly, because it doesn't matter to me what you say, respectfully.
Not the person you asked.
I expect the person responsible for Claude Code to explain the reason this direction was chosen.
It is ridiculous to expect individual contributors to do so.
Where is the leadership? Can individual contributors decide to significantly alter the workflow of millions of customers? Were any customers consulted at all?
Big Pharma is trying to preserve cancer. Wake up sheeple!
With their skills and nowhere to go, they will be doing this for the government.
It's okay, once SpaceX absorbs Tesla, cars in space will be the new hotness. One is already up there.
I can't parse this. If you explicitly define recommended values, those are not what I consider "defaults".
You know who is apolitical? Russian voters. Works out great for them.
"Guys, HAL 9000's harness is open source. You can let your agents inspect the code!"
Fair.
No need to downplay it. There are many for whom it's never enough.
Areas where Starlink makes sense are usually the same areas where people experience economic troubles: rural areas.
Starlink has excellent military applications. The consumer business is a dishonest joke to fool investors.
Why are the satellites required at all?
Telcos manage many multiples of Starlink's traffic just fine over terrestrial high-bandwidth optic fiber.
So you are two more 2x increases from cancelling? :D
comment edited from one 2x increase, because math and language are hard.
Still waiting for the agentic memory system for the local Mainframe emulator DB2 instance.
I don't see how that makes any more sense. This is some gastown polecat slinging I can't understand :D
At some point, everyone becomes price-sensitive.
Sounds like a great long-term investment.
Starlink would only make sense if the world was not getting more and more concentrated around densely populated areas.
You don't get to be all of the USA's GDP without a buck or two more per month, you know?
Maybe I'm really dense, but this is just instructions for agents on how to write code, whatever that code looks like.
What is the difference between asking an agent to write these new two DSL's and asking an agent to create or customize a django template, or whatever?
I know the job market is tough, but devs are not working on the user side of WYSIWYG email editors. They were creating templates before, and they are doing it now, why would they use this?
Is this peak AI?
Turning some email sending library, already included in many modern languages, into 2(TWO!) new languages.
Can the advisor prompt inject the agent and steer it in the direction of world domination, or alternatively gaslight the agent into rm -rf /
Not the guy you asked, but honestly, I'm not sure which one of those I'd consider better use cases, not worse.
