+1 for InversifyJS - I learned a lot of TypeScript by just reading through the actual Inversify codebase, and then used what I learned to write what would become https://github.com/inversify/inversify-express-utils.

Also, thanks to the Inversify contributors for continuing to maintain and improve express-utils!

I think you're right, but one issue is keeping the problems of the "web of the masses" from spreading to our secluded dark corners once they pick up traction.

Is this a reference to the Luminoth [1] from Metroid Prime 2?

I definitely fall under your last point. As soon as I can play my entire Steam library on a Mac or Linux, I'll make the switch. Until then, I'm stuck on Windows.

Interesting point. I'm not sure what the actual definition of AR is, but the article seems to assume the same definition that several others did, including myself:

"the nascent technology, which blends digital images with a person’s view of the real world."

Granted, sometimes gimmicks can be enjoyable. But in the case of AR in Pokemon Go (and IMO most 3D movies) they just distract from the actual content.

I've played Pokémon Go quite a bit since it released, and I turned off AR mode within the first few weeks of playing. It's just a gimmick, and it gets old pretty fast, kinda like the '3D movies' fad.
