Couldn't agree more. On a large and open ended feature I sometimes struggle with where to start and end up researching something tangential. Cool learning, but not efficient.
Claude Code gives me a directory, usually something that works, and then I research the heck out of it. In that way I am more of an editor, which seems to be my stronger skill.
Yes. And pay for the news sources that prove valuable to you. Professional journalism is essential.

Please come work at Google! This place has the best overall code quality I have ever seen. That's not to say it's always great or bug-free, but it is almost always well maintained. There is very little dead code. Giving and receiving high-quality code reviews is the norm.
Yep, me too! Please come to Google. This is the only place that I have ever worked that values code quality and testability, rather than just saying it values these and then letting everything fly to meet some arbitrary deadlines. Polymath Ventures is a company builder that has been operating in Colombia for three years now. We have chosen Colombia as a launching point into Latin America for a number of reasons, including market size and growth trends, access to talent, regional scalability, and an increasingly supportive business culture. Over those years, we have built five companies and are set to launch two more next year.
We are looking to grow the nascent Polymath tech team, which I recently joined. The technological needs of the existing businesses are sophisticated, stemming from several years of operational experience. There is a LOT of from-scratch development that needs to be done! We've settled on Python and Ember as a tech stack, but this is not fixed. Come build with us!
