Have you considered whether this is because of the local weather tendencies? I visited the Netherlands once in summer near Amsterdam, and there were short bursts of rain frequently throughout the day. I'd imagine weather patterns like that are not well represented in global weather apps lowering the prediction accuracy in such regions.

The example I've given is really the only situation so far where I desired such functionality. I know very little about web stuff and I don't know if there is a term for what I'm looking for, so I can't give you any pointers. Macros and workflows are just similar concepts I know.

Does this allow me to record something like a workflow or macro I can use as a shortcut in an open browser window or is it restricted an automated process of opening a browser window and executing some actions?

Specifically, assume I have a bunch of open tabs, each with an identical element, say the Full Screen button on Youtube video pages. Can I record "Exit Full Screen, move to next tab, enter Full Screen of the video on the page" with Autotab?

In Germany at some universities linen bags with the Elsevier logo are handed out to freshmen, and you occasionally see students using them. Admittedly, I think their logo does look nice. Because of this I'd argue that the public opinion of Elsevier is actually rather positive.

I realize it's the opposite of what this site is about, but the greatest enjoyment I've gotten from HN was always from discussions about non-technical, everyday life stuff where things get surprisingly deep. Two posts that stood out to me in recent memory were

1) https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=30161578, a discussion about the hardships of becoming a farmer. I especially liked dpatru's comment: "The natural state of man is poverty.[..]".

2) https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=27038139, a discussion about the diamond industry. Linked is a comment thread about a guy buying a synthetic diamond for his wife and the ensuing trouble. There were numerous quality discussions about social interactions and psychological differences between the sexes. A salient meta comment by akarma: "[..]it's like you expect all women in your life to be like many people on HN — hyper-rational, utilitarian devs who would never want a mined diamond because a cheaper artificial one with better clarity exists[..]"
