Agreed. I work on pharmacy data, which is additionally subject to HIPAA compliance. While the the pharmacy data does technically not contain anything identifiable, it is frightening how easily someone can match their own company's records up to a data set that is supposedly anonymous.

My day job is in pharmaceutical consulting. I spend most of my time interfacing with clients, project management, team coordination. I'm also a pretty strong rails developer. I'm looking for an opportunity to do rails development.

I know comcast is more diversified, but wouldn't this be a threat to them too? Why no effect on their after hours price?

Do any ROR devs use emacs? Are there articles on good configurations for Ruby or Rails? I'm trying to get into emacs. I see the value, but it is REALLY overwhelming getting started.
