The fork from FreeBSD was back in 2003, almost a decade ago. The original link doesn't even mention FreeBSD. Is this some sort of knee-jerk reflex?
Don't take another project's success as some sort of personal insult. You aren't helping DragonFly, FreeBSD, or even the idea of BSD operating systems in general.
