But I feel depressed every time I use Terraform. I see why it is useful, good etc. But I just enjoy it least of all the programming activities.

Pulumi isn't much better. I feel IaC done that way isn't the way we will settle on long term.

And also by the same logic, chemical reactions in general are impossible outside of life. E.g. a fire.

Managers of 15 shouldn't make lots of decisions. The team should come together and use decision processes to make good decisions. Manager makes sure individuals are growing and are able to contribute at that level.

They shpule make it 16 reports and 8 between them and ceo. Then they can use IP addresses for staff.

Small team management is dead. Long live small team management. Yes. You fire them then your senior engineers fill that gap. Its just not formally part of the process. The cost didnt disappear. Either borne by employees working longer hours or lost velocity.

Or, if possible make latency a feature (embrace the queue!). For service to service internal stuff e.g. something like a request to hard delete something, this can always be a queue.

And obviously you can scale up as the queue backs up.

But the situation where emails are backing upload as you drive to work and back to back meetings sounds like a mismanaged workplace.

The real impact (not a startup idea really) is fixing whatever makes the workplace like that. Usually everyone needs to be involved in everything and bad meeting management. Could be bad prioritisation and taking on too much work. Could be busywork.

If AI could solve those problems or help it might be good.

What if once the 100k dev jobs are gone the equivalent value in terms of AI is nowhere near that. Say it is 5k instead?

Due to oversupply. First you needed humans who can code. But now you need scalable compute.

Equivalent would be hiring those people to wave a flag infront of a car. They are replaced bt modern cars, but you dont get to receive the flag wavers wage as captured value for long if at all.
