It is a "see.... i know my shit" and "here is my number" post.

But I feel depressed every time I use Terraform. I see why it is useful, good etc. But I just enjoy it least of all the programming activities.
Pulumi isn't much better. I feel IaC done that way isn't the way we will settle on long term.
And also by the same logic, chemical reactions in general are impossible outside of life. E.g. a fire.
DNS of AI
Or Balkans?
Managers of 15 shouldn't make lots of decisions. The team should come together and use decision processes to make good decisions. Manager makes sure individuals are growing and are able to contribute at that level.
They shpule make it 16 reports and 8 between them and ceo. Then they can use IP addresses for staff.
Kudos for getting that fat without mentioning AI
Small team management is dead. Long live small team management. Yes. You fire them then your senior engineers fill that gap. Its just not formally part of the process. The cost didnt disappear. Either borne by employees working longer hours or lost velocity.
My perception changed when the iPhone came out. But even before tbat alot of stuff was made on China and it cant all be crap!
I may have understood wrong but thought is possible to get into an unrecoverable stall?
puppy training on a farm
Not a bug. A non airworthy plane they tried to patch up with software.
Given whole truth testimony?
You might use R and Ruby. Wouldn't be unheard of. Alias ftw.
Bamboozle!
Squints, head moves back then slowly swivels to look at news channel with POTUS speaking....
Is the pragmatic solution to return 503 and have clients back off.
Or, if possible make latency a feature (embrace the queue!). For service to service internal stuff e.g. something like a request to hard delete something, this can always be a queue.
And obviously you can scale up as the queue backs up.
I do love the maths tho!
Thinks looks very interesting but is there a good textbook as this is a bit tricky to follow. There are gaps of expected knowledge here.
Likes Lisp Ruby and Typescript, interesting tastes (in a good way... nuanced)
$0 plus spinning out of one of the world's largest social networks and news propagators. But yeah... $0.
True. Replace "crime" with "things that motivate the government to investigate you". They arent the same but overlap alot of course. In 2025 the non intersecting area got larger.
Maybe someone is in the pocket of big mouse.
A watch that just says PM correct some of the time.
I love the idea (also wondering when Google would build this)
But the situation where emails are backing upload as you drive to work and back to back meetings sounds like a mismanaged workplace.
The real impact (not a startup idea really) is fixing whatever makes the workplace like that. Usually everyone needs to be involved in everything and bad meeting management. Could be bad prioritisation and taking on too much work. Could be busywork.
If AI could solve those problems or help it might be good.
Well since we got off the Gold standard, we might need those big numbers.
Basic police work gets you. They know the sim owner. Know its a backpacker. Find their last location. Interview who was there at the party. Etc.
Zip bomb?
What if once the 100k dev jobs are gone the equivalent value in terms of AI is nowhere near that. Say it is 5k instead?
Due to oversupply. First you needed humans who can code. But now you need scalable compute.
Equivalent would be hiring those people to wave a flag infront of a car. They are replaced bt modern cars, but you dont get to receive the flag wavers wage as captured value for long if at all.
Because national security is too good and they want to make it worse?
