please don't re-implement mouse movement, this would work perfectly fine without and now it just feels really bad to use because my sensitivity is fucked

I have to say the speed comparison on the front page seems hard to read / backwards

I feel like you should either put absolute numbers side by side or how much faster pypy is (instead of how much time it takes)

The cost of maintaining code has absolutely not gone down and every line of code is tech debt

The big issue with AI coding is that is kills the fun part of software development (actually writing code) and just becomes reviewing and understanding code you didn't write

I really want https://material-shell.com/ for MacOS

it was perfect for using a single monitor

kinda like a deterministic alt+tab, you set up the layout of "workspaces" and they're always in the same place

you can also pin windows to always open in the same place, so you basically can have persistent layouts that you create while using them (not like powertools where you have to set up the layouts to use them later)

I keep getting annoyed at alt+tab because I accidentally clicked on another window and now the order is messed up

JetBrains Ring UI 4 years ago

just a bit unfortunate that the material design one still has the iOS "wheel" for picking year and month

The only thing where I really perceive VS Code to be faster is startup

The rest might be a tiny bit slower but it more than makes up for it with better UI/UX, code always feels a bit awkward

That’s mainly because they don’t have a Javascript specific editor.

I guess Webstorm doesn't exist in your book?

I'm pretty sure the reason is that you might want to use the same ide for backend and frontend (e.g. GoLand, PyStorm,...)
