As a developer, MacOS is super reliable to me. I love Linux, but there are always somethings not working, which drive me crazy.

Thanks for sharing the channel. I was using Zulip 1 year ago in my MacOS. It crashes every a few days. Later we give it up and switch to something else. I could submit issue next time I use it. I don't know when though.

Zulip is not even close to Slack. It keeps crashing.

I guess this is one sign that coding is drifting to an art, given the LLM is invading.

TeXmacs is a really interesting and fun product. Tried several times. Love its idea. There are lots of bugs last time I tried. Glad to see it is moving forward.

I'm a Emacs user and use it everyday. I've seen a post like this from time to time. Most of them make sense, and I indeed agree on it. But from my personal experience, I prefer Clion to write C/C++, prefer IntelliJ to write Java. I will not recommend Emacs for these coding job. A modern IDE is doing a much better job. I still love the org-mode of Emacs though.
