Hello, are you aware that ALL the software you run on your computer can silently access your clipboard? Have you ever copied sensitive data? Perhaps a password?
Anyway, what I'm asking is a native way to run software in a real sandbox. It's really not a big deal to grant access when asked. Have you used any mobile OSes in the past 20 years? It's the default there and I can be certain that any random utility cannot read my clipboard or user directory without consent.

I'm dying to have proper sandboxing in macOS. I installed ChatGPT, I asked it to list files in my user directory and it did. I never gave it permission, how could it? My terminal has access and honestly it shouldn't either.

Just about what would happen if you refuse to pay the bill, most likely you'll end up being shared on some Facebook group or worse.
The worst part of restaurant fees are the people (both owners and somehow the patrons) that will justify the existence of the fee as if it's too difficult to just print the final price in the menu.
I live in a touristy part of the world and effectively all restaurants above baseline level will have a "+7% service +11% tax" line.

Finder has always been crap. When Windows Vista came out, using Finder was like playing with a toy. IYKYK.[1]
Sadly, it has received effectively zero updates since. The only amazing things about the Finder are column view and QuickLook, both of which we've had forever

You're absolutely right, but I don’t think we'll ever get to a point in which what a car ships is better than what Apple ships. This only gets worse over time when you have a new iPhone and a 10-year-old infotainment system, it's just not possible.
Car automakers are not going to support your infotainment system (for free) even just 5 years down the line.
Even just thinking about the integrations gives me a headache (will my music app work on my car? how do I transfer my trip from Google Maps on my phone to my car?)
So the solution for today and tomorrow is to just stream your entire phone to the car.
