I've always associated Palantir with Dark Knight Sonar vision system. This one might be working better than the fictional one I suppose.

Glove80 is a decent ready-made product but it's simply too big. From my experience, sofle/silakka/lily58 with tenting solution worked better since they have smaller thumb cluster and surface but still takes advantage of same structure.
The ones I listed are well open sourced and modularized, you can print out parts as you go - trackpad, trackball, tilting pad, joystick whatever you want.
With Vimium, you can toggle the type to navigate mode so that it doesn't invoke unwarranted shortcut
Vimium does the same but it's just an extension so you can keep the goodies without switching the browser

GlazeWM[1] and FancyWM[2] is also pretty nice, albeit not as stable as Fancyzone.

I've been waiting for the feature that I could move focus between window with keyboard in fancyzone. It would be the last stroke for a beautiful product.
Oh my god that header design is such a obnoxious one. I feel like being solicitated physically and constantly. I have nothing bad for material design/roboto family but now I hate it.
9 of 10 times dubbing doesn't fit with natural situational space(echo, reverb, any time based post processing in general). It's almost always out of space, stands out for me annoyingly which I find breaking the immersion. I wonder french dubbing is different.
I doubt you can tell the difference with lossy and lossless with a constantly clipping club sound system.
Afaik it uses its own recording channel, which can be fingerprinted by them.

Attaching split keyboard on the armrest with a trackball or trackpoint would be a sweet spot.
Try using a tablet or any display laid on desktop, it's terrible posture and very painful after a while.
I do the same and have triple displays that is placed with ergonomics in mind, so workspace is like 3*n mostly.
There's no drawback for me except probably terrible carbon foot print..

If you go custom ones, all kind of of combination is there but premade is not so much, plain ergodox ez would be the closed of what you want.
You can turn off the led btw. I assembled some out of curiosity but usually don't be bothered to turn it up on my own.
I recommend agave(NF), if you want a similar vein but a bit less cheerful. It's so easy on my eyes.

Am I the only one rocking with agave? Especially agave NF, it looks a bit funky (casual-looking) but it's been really easy on my eyes on not-too-high res display(34' 1440p).

You can go low profile with various switches on any layout, even attaching trackpoint or trackball module. Many designs are open source these days thanks to many MK designer/developers.
That incident just shows that linux UX is also pretty user hostile in other direction.. blaming noob is such a low hanging fruit and fixes nothing.
Not much actually, Ableton Live, Max/MSP and loads of ancient VSTs. Yes I tried ardour, bitwig and reaper but those aren't enough for my workflow unfortunately. Also HW supports isn't great on linux when it comes to various combination of external audio gears.
Like another child comment said, I've tried multiple distros for years as well but always came back to win cause I can't be bothered to maintain two different OS in my flavor. Windows is cumbersome for sure but it can be mitigated at the end of the day. Windows is not my fave OS per se but just works in most cases..
I've been actually a mac user for a long time but it sucked on HW/SW in my case. I ditched mac like a couple years ago but now It might be in a better fit..
Can't get enough praise for HD25 as a heavy user. It's portable, modular structure, replacement part is dirt cheap, comfy as hell, sounds awesome, cable is your choice, isolation is top notch and even quite cheap for what it is. As a DJ, I've been abusing it for a decade and it's still going strong. For me it's a peak mass product.
