Shouldn't wealthy musicians, mainy of whom claim to be socialist or at least progressive, redistribute their wealth to the poorer musicians?

The disease model of addiction ( a la AA) has been thoroughly discredited by science. Indeed believing in the disease model is a primary determinant of relapse. The incredible work of Stanton Peele in the US is the route that "addiction treatment" should move towards.

Very interesting question because once you solve it, it doesn't seem hard anymore.

Can someone explain the '[A-Z][a-z]' '\012*' means ? Tried googling but to me it is transliteration of any two letter sequence beginning with a capital to a line feed?

I miss the lined green dot matrix printouts. Best way to read code. But maybe I'm just romanticising.

Used to use MATLAB for all data processing. Python was free and seemed to be gaining popularity. One day for analysing some data just decided let's see if I can do this in Python. Went from zero to a fully functioning script with many features in a few hours. I was hooked.

Not sure if this is of any help or not but I went through a short period of extreme fear of flying. I overcame it, I believe, because of what I would have to give up if I took the decision never to fly again. If this is an option for you and it would not negatively impact your life then, of course, you simply do not need to fly again. For me that was not an option; it would have seriously negatively impacted my life and so once I had made that decision it became easier, actually fun, to fly again.
