yes there is, I bought one by accident the other day
doesn't the bambu have a built in FTP server?
If you think for a living, you should know who Pedro is
FreeCAD is great for small things but any time I tried a complex model I get performance issues, lock ups and crashes pretty consistently. There are still a lot of hard edges.
I switched to Solid Edge free community edition, much more stable and the workflow is less bespoke.
Could have just used Groovy Arcade and an old AMD VGA card instead of building a custom VGA card
In AU, they already have public charging networks (Evie, for example) that allow you to pre register your VIN and just roll up, plug in and it starts charging.
Good
I just built a new NAS using a raspberry pi5 and radxa SSD expansion hat, using openmediavault on the software side. Fairly painless setup, the kit is barebones but I 3d printed a custom case.
It is surprisingly good! 16gb of RAM so you can host all sorts of goodies, and you arent locked into vendor software. Its also extremely cheap to setup, the SSDs end up being the largest expense.
It does all this while using about a quarter of the power my old Thecus NAS did.
Got a Librem5 and sold it immediately. Too large, too heavy, shitty, buggy software and the battery was terrible. This was admittedly a few years ago but I wouldnt touch them.
Another good reason not to go camping
The enshitification continues
It's not free but Americas Test Kitchen is very, very good
It was already dead to me
Dell XPS 13 - died just out of warranty with probably 10 hours of usage. Giant waste of money.
Kobo eReader, think it was called a Sage? absolute garbage, worst eReader I have ever bought. Spent 10 months battling with support after constant issues, got a replacement and sold it immediately.
Coming in 2026, the accordian phone
Maybe that's the point.
Then all the remote workers can be put on PIP for not working as hard as their in-office counterparts
New BYD EVs come with a credit card sized NFC key which can be used to unlock and start the car...
Even KitchenAid mixers are no longer as good as KitchenAid Mixers. They use plastic gears now and are generally overpriced junk.
When buying a mixer, look for Metal Gearing. Avoid plastic gearing and belt drives.
For an example of a good quality metal geared mixer that is well constructed, check out Breville.
I can't remember where but I have read that "one in six mobile phone batteries around the world are manufactured by BYD"
I thought the same, that it could be used to either mint new coins or test existing coins were the correct dimensions.
My next thought was that each side held a face-plate, maybe painted wood, that could be pressed in to the face, the knobs would help there. The holes underneath the panels could have been used to just make it weigh less, which could explain the differences in hole sizes found.
All the 8bitdo controllers I have tried had issues pairing (Bluetooth yuck), staying paired and constant flaky drop outs. They now live in their respective boxes.
They do look good though!
A lot of prescription glasses get offered with blue light filters, does that mean they actually work?
Fuck Blizzard and their always online battle net bullshit.
I would rather spend $1000 on Indy games than give Blizzard a single cent.
IDA free is a long running joke.
Hexrays have a long history of pricing non-professionals out. Super high fees, expensive upgrades and an extremely useless free version is a slap in the face to anyone that wasn't born with a silver spoon in their mouth.
Hacker unfriendly, closed source, shitty SDK and constantly breaking API. I haven't used IDA in years and I have no desire to go back.
This blatant grab at relevancy is too little, too late IMO.
There are loads of great, free or inexpensive RE tools that we should focus on instead.
All hail the King
No not that way, dig up stupid!
Waiting from 2019 also. Multiple queries and complaints.
Never getting my money back, almost certainly never getting a phone.
And still no lossless streaming...
The only thing "ahead" for the Librem is their ridiculous backlog, and them stealing even more of their customers money.
I have been waiting over three years for the Librem. Every now and then, I inquire and every time I get an email saying it will be another 6 months, 12 at the worst. They don't even send email updates any more, the only emails I get are to "invest" in Purism buy buying junk shares. Yeah right, like I'm going to throw good money after bad!
I emailed them yesterday and guess what, it's still 6 to twelve months away! Don't bother asking for a refund either btw, because they won't give a refund back "until your device is ready to be delivered", i.e never.
So they take your money, never deliver a product, and refuse to refund. Great experience!
Stay away from Purism, stay far far far away. Won't be buying any of their products ever again.
