The more interesting question to ask is since there is such strong evidence of priming, how far should law enforcement agencies go in there own efforts to prime an individual into committing a crime(a la stings} are there any lines that shouldn't be crossed?

I believe that chapter on priming Has been widely cited and used in practice. For example, law enforcement agencies use the ideology behind priming whenever they run a sting operation, and clearly believe it actually works. Look at the new prevalence of terrorism, gun, Drug, and rape stings.
What I don't understand is with such capabilities, why weren't Michelle carters texts flagged? Or the heather Mack texts/fb messages. Or the texts revolving around the death of Tim piazza at penn state? If the capability to save these people was there, why wasn't it exercised?
