It's pretty clear that the comments on this forum have gotten worse over the years, and I really really doubt banning people from calling that out is going to solve the problem.
I am not using multiple accounts, I don't know why you think I am. Calling out awful comments is not flame bait, it's calling out flame bait.

Kinda. The breadbasket became the Great Plains, which resulted in the destruction of that habitat. The question is, is it worse to replace forest with farmland or plains with farmland?

I'm from upstate NY, and the loss of "breadbasket" status was great for the local ecology. When we were the breadbasket of the country (when the country was much younger), all the forests were cut down and erosion and water quality were a much bigger issue.
Not all ads necessarily contain statements that would force Facebook to take a side on any issue or become an arbiter of truth. They could simply restrict political ads to essentially just "Vote for [candidate]", or something similar.
