Thank you for the well detailed response to my question. I'm currently working on returning to the CS Field due to a devastating and career ending injury. The specific Field I'm interested in his programming the interface between hardware such as robotics and user interfaces. So much has changed over the past decade I feel like I'm having to start all over and relearn everything to do with programming! And on top of that I have to also relearn how to live as a quadriplegic! Thank goodness for the Internet and it's incredible amount of free knowledge available these days!
Sadly the way things are currently going I doubt this will ever happen. User data has already been commoditized and as such most companies that are able to acquire it don't want to share it, and or cannot share it due to EULAs and the like. Possibly through mergers and acquisitions such a situation could arise but that has its own set of problems given the antitrust lawsuits we have been seeing lately, not to mention the cooling effect High interest rates have had on such transactions. I suppose a third-party tracker that users willingly install onto their computers might be able to offer up such a thing but I'm not sure there's a market for that and very well may be flagged as spyware as that's basically what it would be.
But that's just my take, and I've been wrong many times before! In fact I wouldn't be surprised if TikTok and Huawei offers up exactly what you're talking about tomorrow!
I like this process much better than using pre-compiled virtual machine images that let's just say certain State controlled businesses are offering up as an easier way to install dependencies and or tool – chains needed for their "Open source" hardware.

I may be dating myself here but I seem to recall Intel offering a hobbled 486 processor in which the math processor was disconnected for no other reason than marketing. Regarding the Gate array Technology it seems we've come full circle with the new risk V processors being offered up at incredibly cheap prices.
Isn't the whole purpose of GIT Version Control? In other words to prevent work loss occurring from mergers and/or updates? Maybe I'm confusing GitHub with GIT? PS I want to set up a server for a couple of domain names I recently acquired, it has been many years so I'm not exactly sure if this is even practical anymore. Way back when I used to distribution based off of CENT OS called SME server, is it still common place to use a all in one distribution like that? Or is it better to just install my preferred flavour of Linux and each package separately?

Just to provide a bit of context, on October 14 2023 I was shot while driving my car and due to the crash and the bullet severing my spinal cord I am now a quadriplegic. I have obtained the hardware listed on the BOM and will be getting a friend to assemble the device but could use some help with the coding. Currently I am using an iPad with voice control and it is tedious to say the least.

The new stadium they built for the Raiders is a technological marvel, the field slides outside of the stadium on tracks to allow real grass to get the sunshine fresh air etc and to allow the stadium to be used for other events without damaging the turf. Professional sports teams in Vegas are a great idea as the visiting teams tend to draw in fans and their wallets, most of the Games I've watched on TV seem to have just as many if not more fans cheering for the visiting team.

I have generally had good experience dealing with Go Daddy, there was a bit of an incident with an auto renew hitting my credit card for a few hundred dollars that I wasn't expecting. I have also noticed that the site appearance seems subpar and they are pushing several third-party Products such as Microsoft 365. Personally I just locked up my domain names for the next 10 years so that I don't have to worry about renewals or policy changes [hopefully anyways!]
It may be a good idea to leverage GPT these days. I asked Microsoft copilot to create a Python sketch of a simple Tetris Game and it spit it right out. I'm not suggesting you just leave it to GPT to write your code but there's no harm in having it build an example that you can then use as a framework.
Not that I am advising anyone to hurt themselves, but I used to work with the coroner service and it was quite common for people to use helium. I have to say after seeing how much he surviving families are of people that due to to commit that act, it is an extremely selfish thing to do and taking the easy way out while hurting your loved ones at the same time. I am confused, why exactly is a membrane required to keep the hydrogen and oxygen separated? From what I recall in High school science class there was no membrane separating the electrolyte in our electrolysis rig. The fact that both oxygen and hydrogen are lighter than the electrolyte a.k.a. salt water meant that the gas is bubbled up out of the electrolyte above each electrode which were separated distance of about 2 feet which allowed the individual gases to be collected separately.

Most television advertisementS use a technique called sound compression or sometimes just called compression. This essentially compresses the audio waveform so that the highs, mids and Lowe's are all driven at the same level which causes the audio to sound louder. They should be fairly easy to detect in order to mute the TV but I'm not sure how you can get it unmute at the right time.
I would say that Apple AirTags would work well, you need to attach them to their shoes or slippers as many people will takeoff tractors on a watch or clipped to their jacket but they will always put their shoes on [almost always)
If they haven't lost the ability to read yet, post-it notes stuck to the door are a good idea too.

I know you said you don't have any experience with Arduino but Device has a screen a microphone and an infrared LED and can be programmed with an Arduino, it has everything you need to listen to the TV and mute it. Good luck
I suppose you could use the LLM to generate a function that would perform the operation you want. I know image classifiers have been used for audio, the audio is converted into a waveform Image and then processed. It should also be possible for AI to generate schematics including logic gates or even functional ICs such as amplifiers or possibly the entire catalogue of 7400 series chips.
