I mean Oracle man, people don't use enterprise software if they're into the cutting edge. they're into cya and vesting. your stay-here option is to apply a new stack to a business problem, make that case to your boss as something to work on, and see if they say yes.

yup, my video games have had this level of security for a decade. finally, our financial services are starting to catch up. waiting on u wells Fargo.

feeling like overwork is the norm to have a career? you should start or join a startup! that's a recipe for burnout and an early grave.

you're either so young that you still believe in the meritocracy or so rich that you need to believe in it to morally justify your existence.

Gawker shouldn't be asking the public to fund their existing enterprise. If they have $200k, they should pony up, because obviously they think it's worth that much. I'm tired of seeing crowd-funding being used to push projects by people and businesses who already have enough money to get it off the ground, just don't want to spend, or borrow it.
