1Pass X seems to be available on just Chrome? I'm actually quite interested to learn how it works - from my knowledge it's the only standalone PM extension right now.

I'm glad that that fad is... mostly(?) over.
Are there results anywhere? Can't seem to find anything on their link to https://www.securityinnovation.com/
Yeah, I agree. I don't think there's an intrinsic good guy/bad guy. But I have pretty much zero faith in ISPs in Canada. Maybe it's better where you live.
I feel like people who complain about this are people who wouldn't be satisfied with anything unless they rolled it themselves. Of course, you could purchase your own server, use OpenVPN, etc. But anything that you haven't touched yourself is just one more thing that's potentially malicious.
I'm not entirely sure what the technical reason for this change was. Of course, cleaning up your DBs and whatnot is a good thing. But why did they move it to Postgres instead of simply clean?
I'd rather give my internet traffic to a company that doesn't sell my info versus my ISP, which almost certainly would sell my info.
What's to stop people from forking off that list and transitioning to another one? Like what if ad blockers just switched to use EasyList2 instead of EasyList?
I'm not saying there aren't users. I'm saying that it's getting absolutely mauled by its competition. Obviously it's hyperbole to say it's dead, but it's definitely dying unless it can do something drastic. It's got no redeeming features that would make me want to use it over Messenger, Messenger/Facebook Stories, or Instagram Stories. I used Snapchat myself up until its competitors were released - so did many of my friends.
calamari and pork
What?? Since when do they do that? What parts of pork have a calamari texture? I've literally never heard of that before
Not sure that really applies. You NEED to buy things. Rent/mortgage. Food. Transportation expenses. The guy's right - at this point, why would you ever spend BTC on those transactions when you can spend $ instead?
The reason why you spend any currency instead of buying BTC is because you need to. Not because you're willingly buying something unnecessary to forsake potential earnings in the future.
I think Snap is pretty dead. Between Instagram and Facebook stories, I just don't see the appeal of Snapchat. Most of the time, if I want to send stupid shit to my friends, I do it in Messenger because we can laugh about it later, too.
Yeah, vigilant is the equivalent of a kill switch. So not connected to VPN = no internet
