iPhone and Android apps designed/developed - help me build a portfolio!

Knocked up a quick website at http://www.2kapp.net for perusal.

As might have been hinted at, I'm building up a portfolio of mobile apps and until I have a few to show off, I'm doing this starting at $2000. Depends on complexity obviously but this can include design & development if required.

For more complex things we can agree a price or tweak features to fit the budget. Could be a good idea for your MVP?!

I was (and still am) a web developer but now I'm trying to build up my mobile portfolio and get things rolling in that direction. To that end, I am offering complete design & development of iOS or Android apps from $2000.

I say 'from' as it does depend on how mightily complex your app will be. We can also work out what can be done for the price if budget is an issue, though.

Reasons:

I've done a few of these now but the majority are in-house apps and as such I have little to show. I need to build up a bit of a portfolio that folks can actually see.

Also, due to personal circumstances, my hours are all over the place so I'm not Johnny Officehours.

I also have many, many years of web app dev and design experience. Happy to go into more detail via e-message and discuss all the bits & pieces.

I've been 'struggling' with this lately. I have app dev experience but not really anything to show in public so I have been offering to do apps at $2k-ish as a portfolio building exercise. Maybe I anchored it too low or this is just how it is, but I received a fair few messages asking if I'd go sub $1000 or work on a pay-if-we-like-it/if we make money basis.
