For photo/video editors, the Pro screen alone is worth more than the entire laptop. To be clear, the Pro screen is equal to a professional HDR reference monitor, and the entire laptop costs less than a professional HDR reference monitor.

That's literally communism.
Just to be clear, I don't think a "fair and free market" can be accomplished at all, ever. It's an incoherent concept and really just juvenile. Your comments and contradictions above are enough to illustrate why.
No, I think it's a myth, propaganda.
Which should turn into an anti-trust action against HP by the government.
Or at least it would, were free-market capitalism still an actual goal.
It is curious that government intervention would be evidence of "free-market capitalism."
This can't be repeated enough. We can't even take care of ourselves.
Simply not true. The US is constantly flooded with fresh immigrants who can get drivers licenses and drive for super cheap on unlivable wages.
so it's possible but not under capitalism
Capitalism is defined as a system of relations which prioritizes the right for one to exercise their existing capital to accumulate more of it, above everything else and indefinitely.
It's not "shady". It's just capitalism.
Does anyone have knowledge of whether we can expect Firefox to get HDR support in the near or distant future?
or some personal bias of your own.
class bias most likely
I agree with precisely all of the other answers so far. Any measurement would be as good or better than none. I'm curious what point you were trying to make though.
The ruling class colludes and bargains any and every way they please. Among l other things, it's hypocritical to suggest that labors shouldn't be allowed to do the same.
And? Is bombing them more supposed to change that?
A friend of mine couldn't get his claims paid even as a UHC corporate employee. He ended up quitting his job at a health insurance company because he wanted functional health insurance.
What Americans asked for this? I know I didn't, and I'm absolutely sick of paying for it.
I can't imagine your point. Maybe you should clarify what it us, because the US is full of metros that would be extremely well served by modern train systems, and they would only grow as a result.
The definition of capitalism is literally a system of economic relations that prioritizes the right to leverage one's existing capital to accumulate more capital, above everything else and indefinitely.
Wow, I couldn't have even imagined that is what's going on here, but I suppose it makes sense. I now have a bit more sympathy for it as well for some reason, despite my certain disapproval.
but hey, it doesn’t hurt to have optionality
MBAs, financiers, venture capitalists, etc. have the most repulsive grammar/vocabulary. Why?
I hope you get your medal!
Hope all you'd like but that doesn't change the fact that they'll do whatever they want because you have no power.
How could Expedia's PR department let this through?
It's for shareholders. Who cares about anyone else?
By the dictates of capitalism, this can never make a dent. If it does, it must be undermined.
Don't worry about that! It turns out capitalists are wonderful people so they deserve it!
Which society is that????
Thankfully my parents didn't live with such recklessness. With such nonsense floating around, we won't even have a society in a few generations because nobody can raise a family like that, and we should not be surprised that the few children we are producing have so many problems.
You can't justify your neoliberal capitalism on free consumer choice then just take that away as you please.
I suggest reorganizing society because there simply isn't another option. If meat were too expensive to eat, people would eat less of it, but it's not too expensive because capitalists can just outsource the cost of their destruction. This is fundamental to capitalism, which people forget is literally defined as an economic system that prioritizes the right of individuals to exercise their existing capital to accumulate more of it, above everything else.
The grade goes on your record, though. The time investment to complete the course with a satisfactory grade would negate the time I have to read the material.
For the material I wanted at the time, the solution was libgen. But yeah.
