~10 years ago I had a renewed interested in perspective drawing, and was struggling with an 'exercise' that utilized curvilinear perspective & oblique angles. Anyways, I stumbled on some of Rafael's drawings and found their inclusion of the guide lines / measuring lines invaluable, but for the hell of it, I emailed him some questions. ~50% response rate for people with major depressive disorder isn't "barely working" -- for millions of people, SSRIs significantly improve their quality of life. Unfortunately, there is no "one size fits all" solution and often those of us with MDD have to try different medications, in conjunction with a (good) therapist before we find what works best.

Personally, I've run the gamut on SSRIs and they never suppressed all emotion.

Having been a young kid in the 80s, what I recently discovered was the primary concern with parents at the time (because, I genuinely don’t remember) was using those afternoon and Saturday morning cartoons as a vehicle to sell products to kids - a barrage of advertisements. In addition to 7839284023's suggestions, if you're making regular backups and not performing partial updates, I think it's unlikely you'll tank your OS and if you do, you got the backups. You mentioned debian and things to avoid post-install - if you're looking for something as invaluable and concentrated as dontbreakdebian, you won't find it with Arch (outside of simply pointing to the wiki).

EndeavourOS has their own wiki . I get the impression they were/are attempting to translate the Arch wiki to a more succinct and ingestible format, but many of the articles are several years old so I'd recommend vetting those that are applicable to your use case.

EndeavourOS has been my daily driver for about 4 years - I'm a huge fan. A breeze to install, excellent community, and I like the QoL features/packages they've added.

For mass gamers of that era, where the big thing was "arcade in your living room" it's a disapointement....

One exception to this is the shmup genre. The Saturn was inundated with Japanese Shmups and many are perfect (or near perfect) arcade ports.

I genuinely don't understand where this interpretation is coming from; I'm not challenging the interpretation, rather asking for an explanation. They intend on cratering SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS (+ insert any other solution where VPNs are ubiquitous with respect to access) for the purposes of prohibiting access to TikTok and ilk that belong to "foreign adversaries" (China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, and Venezuela)?

- Will B2B VPNs be allowed, and B2C / commercial VPNs be prohibited?

- How would they accomplish this? Ask ISPs to blacklist VPNs?

- How would any of this be enforceable? (perhaps I answered my own question with the preceding question)

Big fan of ASR and former HeadFi member (back when they actually had a sub-forum dedicated to measurements, data, and science). My only 'criticism' (and it's primarily directed at older reviews) would be Amir often using SINAD as a single metric to determine the quality of a product. I'd guess this was intentional, as a means to address how "convoluted" (aka batshit crazy) the hobby had/has(?) become, e.g. how you feel about your $1k audiophile switch is of no importance to anyone other than yourself.

The First Law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie. Grim and gritty, with phenomenal character development that hones in on the fallibility of people. The narration by Steven Pacey is incredible, if you'd like to go that route.

Many audio engineers and enthusiasts have attempted to remove the “reality distortion field” that permeates the prominent audiophile communities (headfi, audiogon) for years; ASR was one of the first to successfully to so (excluding sites dedicated to specialized equipment).

A few years ago I participated in a Splunk deployment and the cloud solution utterly dwarfed an in-house enterprise solution, in regards to cost. Even in the event that cost was irrelevant, certain sectors (financial institution(s)) are going to have a difficult time pivoting to a cloud-based solution and relinquishing control over the underlying infrastructure.

Vehemently agree. The response demonstrates, if nothing else, the lack of an appropriate Incident Response Plan. A competent legal team would not vet and approve such a response, instead redirecting it through the appropriate channels if they felt the need to respond directly.

The appropriate response from the security team (after verification) is to pull the site down or immediately patch the vulnerability, if possible. Making an outbound call to a third-party is pointless and irresponsible.
