I stole this format from Mike Crittenden [1] and made some modifications to it. It has worked wonders for me and my team.

I went years without consuming RSS until I discovered Fraidy Cat[1] here at Hacker News.
I did not test on mobile and maybe it should have all the steps in single page for that aspect ratio (easier to simply scroll). However, for desktop, it was such a beautiful way to guide the reader each step of the way. It was really well done.
Yeah. It is sad to be forced to work with "just good enough". I work in tech support and everyone asks for a Teams meeting to share screens. And Teams has improved a lot in the last 6 or 7 years, but, for the purposes of sharing screen for technical support, it is just good enough.
Interesting. It seems that Copilot is presented in Github as a "separate" solution to the rest of the Microsoft ecosystem. Do you think the competition will happen with new integrations to Visual Studio on the app tooling side or on the enterprise apps?
I never thought about the current computing infrastructure as a new frontier for Moore's Law. I suppose the competition will happen in that space. What I am not sure about is if Moore's Law applies to this new infrastructure as whole when compared against the advancements in computers in general.
Based on that rationale, how did you come up with another app of yours: Flix? I mean, how did you figure out to create a $10 app to stream Netflix? What market would do that rather than use a browser?
Ok, but it may be completely different from using the actual app.
For example, GMail app is way slower and irresponsive in the iPad than accessing directly from gmail.com in Safari.
$119 (in Australia, at least) is too much for me to try editing capabilities. How about you keep the price but only prevent me from saving? I need to know how it feels editing the documents before I commit to such price.
I wonder what is the development approach from both companies. For example, I remember Steve Jobs saying Apple's approach was to start from what they wanted to provide to the user rather than developing a technology and then figure out how to make a product out of it.
From the statement from Oculus VR, they are not clear what experiences they really want to provide.
Right now it is very difficult to see what is this same vision that both companies claim to have.

Well attended a JS conf last year and I got to be at the same room as TJ Holowaychuk. I had no idea who the guy was and ended up asking where he came from, what he works with, etc. Shame on me haha.

I have been checking the code for the generation of the spheres. I never developed C++ professionally. Is this code considered good C++ practice? I mean I saw "using namespace std", and exceptions using cout.
I have no knowledge of how this works so I have to ask. How hard would it be to pitch it to a major Hollywood studio?

I haven't read the full article. But somehow it surprises me that the diamond was found in Brazil and not a single author is at least from a Brazilian university.
