what isn't mentioned is the speed at which the editor reads out code. i remember reading a similar story where the blind programmer recorded some code being read out, and it was extremely impressive to say the least. i could not understand a single word. i thought the recording was broken.

I spent a lot of time on your site & the medium article trying to understand what it does. I wouldn't have done this if I didn't read your HN post, so I really did try and understand it. Right now it seems like this would create more work for me than reduce it. Just my thoughts. Good luck though!

neat idea. i'm going to chicago in a few weeks and took the recommendation from your app.

the interface is clean and easy to use, the idea itself i also quite clever, however, i don't know if it will be survive/used on its own. it seems as if it's an accessory service, something that compliments a primary service. maybe if i book a trip to visit a city, using another service, say a travel service, this would automatically serve me your app's recommendation.

either way, good luck, seems like a cool idea.

i've been trying to fit this into my schedule as much as possible as well (much like the rest of us).

what really set me off into making it a daily habit was the following washington post article.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A43006-2005Jan...

""What we found is that the longtime practitioners showed brain activation on a scale we have never seen before," said Richard Davidson, a neuroscientist at the university's new $10 million W.M. Keck Laboratory for Functional Brain Imaging and Behavior. "Their mental practice is having an effect on the brain in the same way golf or tennis practice will enhance performance." It demonstrates, he said, that the brain is capable of being trained and physically modified in ways few people can imagine."

Make sure you've created a page to drag the components on to. That was the problem I was running into anyway.

they are both right. i've been using myfitnesspal for quite some time now, and remember reading that it was indeed a very small team (of just 2). now time has passed and they have obviously expanded. but they were extremely successful even at the beginning. i can't find the link right now but i'm certain that if you check out their blog, near the beginning, you will find something that resembles the 2man team story.

Wonderful little app. I would actually spend some time going through it if I wasn't at work. Speaking of which, is there any process put in place to filter the sites people input?
